Patch 1.1 just dropped, and it brought some massive systemic changes to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The developers made it clear: they want faster, more aggressive gameplay.

How does this affect the Tier List? Let's break down the biggest winners and losers of this patch.

System Mechanics Changes

The biggest change in Patch 1.1 is the adjustment to Forward Dash Invincibility. Previously, dashing through projectiles was incredibly difficult, giving heavy zoning characters like Iron Man and Danger a massive advantage.

Now, Forward Dashes have 4 frames of upper-body invincibility at start-up. This means rushdown characters can finally close the gap!

📈 The Winners

Wolverine & Blade

These two are feasting this patch. With the new dash mechanics, Wolverine can easily bypass projectile spam and get right into your face with his Drill Claw. Blade's Shadow Step also feels much more responsive, solidifying both of them firmly in the S-Tier for rushdown players.

Spider-Man

Spider-Man's Web Swing mobility was already good, but now that his ground dash is safer, he can mix up his approach vectors better than anyone else in the cast. Expect to see a lot more Peter Parker in high-level play.

📉 The Losers

Danger

Danger relied heavily on her full-screen laser setups to lock opponents down. With players now able to dash through the initial beam, Danger players will have to rely much more on their assists and close-range defensive tools to survive. She drops down to A-Tier.

Iron Man

While still potent, Iron Man's Unibeam spam is no longer a guaranteed win condition against less mobile characters. You will need to play a much more balanced, midrange game to succeed with him now.

We have updated our Tier List to reflect these changes. Get in the lab and start practicing the new dash timings!
